Claude Code 2.1.268 fixes third-party endpoint 400s since 2.1.265; ADK Python 2.9.0 breaks workflow resume and GCS paths; MAI-Code-1-Flash is off Copilot.

Claude Code v2.1.268 (20:30 UTC 10 Sep): every turn was failing with HTTP 400 on third-party Anthropic-compatible endpoints (ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL) since 2.1.265 — a regex in the Artifact tool schema those endpoints reject. Also: WebFetch 300s deadline; gateway pricing sync for /cost; high-CPU idle fix; Bedrock/Vertex/Foundry system-prompt and tool-list stability matching first-party. npm latest/next 2.1.268, stable still 2.1.236.¹²

google/adk-python v2.9.0 (21:22 UTC 10 Sep): model failover, LiveKit voice runner, MCP SDK 2.x opt-in, YAML graph configs. Breaking: a failed workflow node re-runs on resume (side effects fire again); GCS tools only touch paths under local_file_root and refuse local files when it is unset.³

GitHub changelog confirms MAI-Code-1-Flash deprecated across Copilot as of 10 Sep; suggested alternative MAI-Code-1.1-Flash (Enterprise may need model policy on).⁴

VERDICT · USE IT — Claude Code: pin ≥2.1.268, especially on ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL / third-party gateways. ADK operators: read 2.9.0 before upgrade — make node bodies idempotent and set local_file_root. Expect MAI-Code-1-Flash gone from Copilot.
