npm @anthropic-ai/claude-code dist-tags this morning: stable → 2.1.231, latest/next → 2.1.241.1 2.1.239 (21 Aug) fixed Bedrock behind proxies that strip response Content-Type: every turn silently re-ran non-streaming and doubled the bill.2 2.1.237 fixed prompt caching through LLM gateways / custom base URLs.3 Both are above stable.
Docs: stable is typically about a week behind; Homebrew claude-code tracks stable, claude-code@latest tracks latest; package-manager installs do not auto-update.4 Native latest already has the fixes.

4.1.14 refreshes the built-in model catalog (Fable 5, Grok 4.6 Vertex, DeepSeek V4 Flash variants, Qwen3.8 27B, more) and restores interactive task-completion telemetry broken after 4.1.11.6 4.1.15: "Use MCP servers" now auto-approves every MCP tool on its own — it previously only hit tools also opted in individually.7 Via the SDK bundle.
